This event will clear litter from vergeside along the approach road into Little Odell. We will be meeting at 1.45pm in the car park of the Forty Foot Lane Byway in Little Odell for a short briefing before heading off. The event will last for approx. 2 hours. If interested in joining our community clean up please contact the group co-ordinatir whose contact details are found on this web page. What fantastic weather we had for Event Number 2. 6 members turned out for the litter pick of the Forty Foot Lane Car park and a good stretch of Dungee Road. Due to the land owner opposite to the car park frequently litter picking part of this stretch, we were able to concentrate our efforts further along the road reaching the Public Footpath that leads up to Park Wood. This stretch of Dungee Road completes a popular circular walking/running route by local villagers, so it's great that's its now clean and tidy for the community's benefit as well as the environment.
We finished our event with a well earned sit down for a cool (or hot!) drink and a biscuit or two. Let's hope our next event sees clear skies once again : ) Renee Allen - Group Co-ordinator .
