Meet at Dove Cottage Debenham at 10 am and again at 12. Pizza, cake and tea and coffee available. Wow, what a turn out! 37 people in the morning and 6 in the afternoon. 103 kg collected plus 8kg of glass, 4 hub caps . A truly social community event, and a godd way to monitor the litter in Debenham , and then decide how to respond.Posters and lealflets have been drafted by professional graphic designer- next step to get them out there , and hopefully have impact!.

Litter picking and much much more in Stanmore Country Park, Stanmore Common & Ponds. Green Gym work outs can include helping volunteer wardens with various projects, including shrub clearance, bramble cutting-back, unwanted shoot removal and any other environmental jobs under guidance! We have guided walks with knowledgeable wardens and keen amateurs. This is an opportunity to meet new people and enjoy quiet and lovely natual environments in north west London. Allington Alligators
As from October 2021, we will be operating as normal and resuming our monthly organised litterpicks in the Allington area. These usually take place on a Sunday morning starting at 10am for an hour or so at a venue advertised on the events section. We generally follow our litterpick in a local cafe for a chat and refreshments. We are a small friendly group of like-minded individuals who care about our local environment and want to keep it clean and tidy. If you are interested in joining us then do please get in touch and give us a try - new members are always welcome. All equipment is provided.
