Meet at 10am on The Green and help us keep the village looking tidy and clear. All welcome. Litter sticks etc. provided. Free chips to all children who come along, thanks to Ruby's Fish and Chip Shop. Unfortunately, we were unable to attract the scouts or cadets to help us with our litter pick this time. We attracted 5 members of Friends of Thringstone plus one youngster (the granddaughter of one of the members). We only stayed out for an hour and a quarter, but managed to clear the area and woodland of 9 bags of rubbish. As always, this is an ongoing thing, and we continue to litter pick daily round the streets and twice a week in the woodlands..

Red Lodge Parish Litter Pickers are a group which formed after Villagers suggested that the Parish should start a group to tackle the littering in the Village. Kirstead Cleaners
