The next community litter pick around Singleton Lake will take place on Wednesday, 24 June 2015 at 7.15 pm, meeting at the car park. We decided to have a twilight litter pick to accommodate those who cannot attend on the weekends. Litter pickers, high visibility jackets and heavy duty gloves are provided, however you are welcome to bring your own. The main focus will be on the lake and its immediate surroundings, however in case of high attendance this can be extended to Bucksford Meadow, the car park and the field. .

Fenton litter pickers
I am tired of seeing rubbish and dog fouling in my local area. We have a beautiful park and nature reserve and I'm seeing more and more fly tipping not just here but all around my local area. I am hoping there are like minded people out there who for a few hours whenever you can we can organise a clean up of the most blighted places and into the bargain get some much needed excercise and make a few friends along the way. I joined my friend Ryan's group Clean Lincoln Everywhere And Now and we picked the virge and copse along am 800m stretch of Triton Rd in Lincoln. Afterwards I decided to attempt to manage it by litter picking, by bike, on my daily commute to and from work. I also join in with the Sincil Bank River Care team, when I can.
