Singleton Lake litter Pick

Due to popular demand we are back at Singleton Lake. We will focus on the path around the lake but if we have enough helping hands will clear the river bank too. Meeting is at 10 am at the car park on Bucksford lane. Singleton lake is a very popular area and local residents deeply care about it. 26 people attended the litter pick and collected a variety of rubbish, apart from the ordinary litter (food wraps, tins, plastic bottles) we found chairs, tires, buggies, trolleys in the river and around the lake, fishing rods and lines. Will return to the lake in 2 months time..

Kirton in Lindsey in Bloom is an independent community group acting in co-operation with Kirton in Lindsey Town Council, Kirton in Lindsey Amateur Gardeners, Kirton in Lindsey Society and North Lincolnshire Council. Bennett\'s Community Crew are a team of people from Bennett Restaurants Ltd. (a franchise of McDonald\'s) who want to make a difference in their local area. We currently have 18 restaurants across Hampshire, Dorset & Wiltshire and St Helier in Jersey. As well as doing litter patrols on a daily basis in our local areas, we have bigger events at least quarterly. We have been working in our local communities from before 2011 however only formed as Bennett\'s Community Crew in early 2015. We have a Planet Champion in each of our restaurants who champion their local community. We are always looking for local events to take part in.

Witham Wombles
We are a voluntary litter picking group in Witham, Essex, who are passionate about keeping our local area tidy and free of litter. We meet up once a month at various locations across the town and are always looking for new volunteers! We love getting the community together and have previously had amazing assistance from the Witham & District Lionesses as well as local schools and Brownies and Beavers groups. We have also been interviewed by BBC Essex and received a Community & Safety Award from Witham Neighbourhood Watch!
