St. Briavels Beautifiers

A gathering of volunteers who meet in the painted bus shelter in High Bentham at 1pm on 13th of each month. We spend an hour or so litter-picking, weeding, planting or generally clearing up around our market town. We also put pressure on the Town Council or District Council when we come across something that we need to tackle in partnership with a larger, more official body.

We are local people working with Elmbridge Council to maintain and improve Hurst Park, East Molesey, which is 80 acres of public open space along the Thames upstream of Hampton Court and Molesey Lock. Hurst Park comprises a number of habitats: mown grass, wildflower meadows and grassland, copses, damp scrapes and river edge.

The Parish Pickers started as 3 small bands of willing volunteers in in the St Stephen Parish near St Albans and by combining forces and with better advertising through posters and social media we have grown to a 50 strong group of mostly fantastic \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'Lone Rangers\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'. We currently do several litterpicks in throughout the year plus we support as many major events as possible including The Great British Spring Clean / World Rivers Day / Love Parks Week

Friends of Cheney Row Park (FoCRP) is a not-for-profit community group managed by a committee of volunteers on behalf of local residents. Events are open to all. We run litter-picking sessions in the park and surrounding area. We also tend to trees, wildflowers and recently planted spring bulbs.

We are a group of local residents who are keen to make Palmers Green a beautiful and thriving place to be. We have ad hoc litter picks which we organise through our volunteer WhatsApp group. Keep Forebridge Tidy is a group made up of likeminded individuals within the Forebridge Ward of Stafford who want to keep the area tidy. The scheme works by each volunteer taking ownership of their street, selection of streets or part of their street and keeping it free from litter by conducting regular litter picks. No formal litter picks are arranged allowing volunteers to litter pick as and when they can.
