I set up the group on realizing there were areas of Lincoln's South Common where litter had been accumulating for years. We have managed to get on top of this situation and are now kept busy due to litter being left around the ponds and viewpoints around the common throughout the year . Since I started picking it I've seen weasels fighting, dear, buzzards and kestrel, herron, partridge and pheasants which, for me, makes it one of the most enjoyable places to pick in Lincoln.

Founded to counteract the ever-increasing amount of litter, dog fouling etc in our village, the group was established independently of the the Parish Council. East Riding of Yorkshire Council provided high visibility jackets, litter sticks, gloves and bags. We meet fortnightly on the village Green although many members (approx 18 at present) also go about as and when they feel inclined! We have not yet enlisted any younger members but this may happen. We would like to have our own "uniform" so that we can be easily recognised and not mistaken for Community Service people!! Our first annual 3Rs bash takes place in the Co-ordinator's garden on Saturday, August 18th. No litter will be left behind!!

My daughter came up with the idea as it is something we already did as a family. A bit like park run is the idea. Once a week we meet up for a good walk picking up litter and meet new people in our community.

Recently I have been on a mission to clean up the litter in my local area and I need help from local people. The aim of the group is to tackle litter blackspots in Tonbridge and the surrounding area, especially around local woods, paths, parks and local playgrounds. Litter can be harmful to wildlife, and its not nice to see when walking in the local park with my son. I want to organise local litter picking/clean up days to improve the local environment for everyone. In times when the local councils are cutting funds for street cleaners the litter problem will be sure to get worse, we all have a responsibility to improve our local environment. Our aim is to clear the roadsides of litter and keep our villages looking spick and span.

At the moment I do some Ad-hoc litter clearance in Thornby and lend support to other intitatives such as CPRE Northants litter picks. I also support the Stop the Drop campaign and any action they take.

I have just started this group, having been surprised to find there is no group in Exeter. I would particularly like to find people willing to help keep the 'Valley Parks' litter free.

A group of friendly, knowledgable volunteers who work under the guidance of The Derbyshire Wildlife Trust. Restoration, Education and Conservation of a local stretch of The Cromford Canal around Ironville and Jacksdale in an area of important industrial heritage with an emphasis on the protection of wildlife.

Our aim is to continue keeping Mill Lane England's cleanest lane.

We co-ordinate activities for the CPRE litter campaign Stop the Drop in County Durham and Darlington. These include acting as a central focus to which reports of litter grot spots may be made; making regular personal contact with Local Authorities, Parish Councils and tourism organisations; organising litter picks throughout the county; spreading publicity for the Campaign; and taking a programme of litter-awareness education into local schools.
