With February being such a short month we have moved the next litter pick to 2nd March and will probably also meet at the end of March (30th) but will confirm that nearer the time. Meeting at the Fish on its Nose scupture on the cycle track, 11am, Sat 2nd March. This month we decided to have a litter pick at the beginning and the end of the month as there are 5 Saturdays in March. At the first one we had a great turn-out of 8 people who, between us managed to collect a staggering 13 bags of recyclables (3 of them solely glass bottles) and 8 of rubbish. This was mostly from a small area between the cycle track and the section of New Station Way that leads to the Post Office collection depot. However, two of the group also went to tackle the appalling mess that reguarly collects at the top of Grove Road. Well done and thanks for your time and effort everyone!.
